I dont understand his logic using bo in a shutdown roll when sutter is on the team. Especially if you are playing him with dorsett. Play him with hansen and someone if your going to give him that roll so he can at least still have a chance to score some goals.

How long is this going to go on for? Long enough for bo to request a trade...

Bo is more offensive than Sutter. If Sutter was brought in to be a two-way center, why not give him the "4th line/1st line shut down" center role and see if we can score more goals and keep the puck out of our net more.... #logic

No, the way to score is by putting the puck into the opponent's net. And, that net is at the other end of the rink entirely.

It is a headscratcher to be sure. Can't say many are going to have a lot of sympathy for WD if he buries one of our only best prospects in the past 5 year on the fourth line. I'm sure WD is not stupid and he realizes he only has about 25 games to get this team rolling but still, not the way to do it IMO. Bo may not have had a stellar camp according to some...but he has earned 2-3 line minutes for sure...especially saving Baertchi's career. See where it goes I guess.

How much longer do we need to be subjected to Linden, Benning & Desjardins. What a joke. The worst asset management I have ever seen. Gave players away for nothing, overpaid to acquire players. Have drafted OK I assume, way to early to tell. Like the Stecher signing although I think he was signing here whoever

I gave up my season tickets after almost 30 years, even with incredible enticements by the Canucks marketing department made to retain them.

Everyone has their opinion and I guess he feels he needs to vent his dislike for JB and WD. I personally don't agree with his assessment, but there are some still saddened by the Gillis firing...I guess.

He will be fired soon...who cares. I'm extremely angry that he gave a letter to Burrows. Now that is an outrage

dont see why theres all the JB hate. Yes some contracts were overly big, yes some trades were marginally questionable and maybe even some lost. BUT he's the best drafter we've prob ever had. You dont fire that. And he works very hard at scouting at multiple levels.

But Max, the first line is supposed to be our best line and the fourth line is supposed to be our goon line.. How am i supposed to establish a hierarchy if we dont have concrete line combinations. Coaches never mix their lines mid-game and the team is really just a bunch of individuals all trying to score goals every shift. There are no more dynamics in the game than that and I don't want to wear some 4th liners jersey.

I agree, line numbers are really not relevant but its how you use them that matters. I really cant see Sutter Hansen and Gaunce outscoring Bo, Burrows and Doresett to be honest, especially if Sutter's line sees more of oppositions 2nd/3rd lines and Bo's sees more 3/4th
